BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
' A successful bridge afternoon was held by the bridge circle of the Community Club Ladies' Auxiliary of the Play and Recreation Association in the Lewis Eadv, Limited, Hall yesterday afternoon. There was a good attendance of members and friends and the hall and foyer were both used for players. Afternoon tea was supplied and served by members of the committee. The committee in charge of the arrangements comprised Mrs. F. E. N. Gaudin (convener of the bridge circle), Mrs. F. M. Rainger, Mrs. Alfred Eady, Mrs. E. J. Taylor, Mrs. G. Gresham, Mrs. F. F. Featherston, Mrs. S. H. Brown, Mrs. John Fuller, Mrs. Prior Williams, Miss V. A. D'Arcy-Jones and Miss B. M. McDonnell. Among those who were present were: Mrs. Harold Moses, Mrs. F. R. Cadman, Mrs. A. Sinel, Mrs. Ernest Davis, Mrs. Sinclair Whyte. Mrs. C. S. White, Mrs. Wann, Mrs. Wilkie, Mrs. Fowler, Mrs. Wright, Mrs. E. .Lichenstein, Mrs. W. H. Woollams, Mrs. G. Chapman, Mrs. A. Israel, Mrs. L. Trenbath, Mrs. M. G. Pezaro, Mrs. J. Corsie, Mrs. A. G. Garlick, Mrs. R. Isaacs, Mrs. A. Lawrence, Mrs. M. A. Miller, Mrs. H. G. Savage, Mrs. T. A. Lonergan. Mrs. L. Babbidge Mrs. G. Pezaro, Mrs. W. Lewis, Mrs. Horspool, Miss M. Clark, Miss H. Kennedy, Miss Y. Hutter, Miss V. Moses.
Mrs. Pezaro was the winner of the prize for stationary bridge and Miss Thelma Peck for progressive bridge.
