Fifty-three people were present. It was resolved that a committee make arrangements to meet other clubs in*the district with a. view to getting their support in playing the League codo.

The Canterbury Rugby Leacue to-night decided to accept-an offer of a New Zealand League test match, N.Z. versus 1 England, at Monica Park on August 18. The Canterbury League will receive 10 per cent, of the gross gate money.
