Hugo, Inspector of Fire Brigades', is visiting Auckland. He is at the Star Hotel. Mr. Colin Fraser, of Melbourne, is visiting Auckland. He will leave for Sydney by the Niagara on Tuesday. Mr W. Cunningham, of Wellington, and Mr. T. A. Stevens and Mr. J. Hill, of Napier, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. H. H. Sterling, general manager of" railways, who has been visiting Auckland," returned to Wellington last evening. Mr. J. May, of Harrogate, England, Mr H R. C. Waller, of London, and Mr! J. G. Lee, of Sydney, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr A. Scott, Mr. M. Mitchell, air. F. K. Walls, Mr. D. Cox, and Mr. W. H. Ball, of Cliristchurcli, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. W. Folev. Mr. A. Hall, Mr. 'A'. S. Houston, and Mr. W. Cullen. of Wellington, and Mr. R. S. Allan, of Whangarei, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. G. S. Lynde, chief mechanical engineer of the Railway Pepartment, who has been -visiting Auckland, icturned to Wellington last evening. Captain W. Whiteford,' Marine Department, 'examiner of masters and mates, who has been Auckland, returned to Wellington bv train last evening. , Mr. and Mrs. G. C. liallidav, of Svdnev, Mr. and Mrs. J. Schloss, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. D. K. Caldwell, of Cambridge, are at the Grand Hotel. Commissioner H. Mapp, international secretary of the Salvation Army for the Dominions and the United States, will arrive in Auckland this avening from Wellington. He will sail for America from Wellington by the Maunganui on Tuesday. ■
