COACHES FOR CRICKET.
J. LANGRIDGE RE-ENGAGED. AUCKLAND EXECUTIVE DECISION. Acting on advice received from its coach, E. H. Bowley, that J. Langridge was again open for re-engagement, the executive of the Auckland Cricket Association decided yesterday to avail itself of Langridge's services next season. A cablegram to this effect has been sent to Bowley. Langridge accompanied Bowley to Auckland last season, and assisted materially in coaching young players. When Bowley left for England at the end of last season he was empowered, on behalf of the Auckland Suburban Cricket Association, to choose a coach for that body. It was thought in* many quarters that Langridge would be the coach engaged by the Suburban Association this year, as, by the courtesy of the Auckland Association, Langridge, toward the end of last season, devoted his time to coaching Suburban Association players. The Suburban Association will now have to seek the services of another professional."
