JUTLAND ANNIVERSARY.
Sir, —A few weeks ago we commemorated the glorious landing at Gallipoli by our comrades of Anzac, a noble and gallant undertaking. Alongside Anzac Day we have a similar Day of Remembrance, namelv, the Jutland Battle of May 31-June 1, 1916. Those of us who represented the British Navy upon that day, which is immortal to us, request your readers to honour this glorious day with a silent prayer of thanksgiving to God for the preservation of those souls who were fortunate to escape death, and to pray for the repose of the souls of the hundreds who died for their Empire. Laurence J. Turtle, Late H.M.S. Barham, sth Battle Squadron, Jutland, 1916.
