MARIST BROTHERS ORDER.
BROTHER CLEMENT'S VISIT. The first Australian to occupy an important executive position in Mie Marist Brothers Order, Brother Clement, arrived from Sydney by the Marama yesterday on a visit of inspection in New Zealand. Although Brother Cloment is an Australian by birth f he was for some time in Auckland, being principal of the Sacred Heart College about ten years ago. Brother Cloment wns recently appointed an assistant-superior-general of the order, the territory under his charge comprising tlie greater part of the British Empire. It is an important post, rendered vacant by the death of Brother Columbanus. Prior to this appointment ho was in charge of St. Joseph's College in Sydney.
