STATE FOREST SERVICE.
FUTURE OF ORGANISATION. [BT TELEGBAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. No appointment has been made yet of a director of forestry in succession to Mr. L. Macintosh Ellis, who recently resigned in order to take up a private afforestation position. It has been ascertained that the Forestry Department is undergoing a process of reorganisation, and when this is complete an announcement as to the Government's intentions .will bo made.
