OBITUARY.
MR. ROY KILNER. FAMOUS YORKSHIRE CRICKETER. A. and N.Z, LONDON, April 6, Tho death has occurred of the Yorkshire cricketer, Mr. Roy Kilner, from enteric fever contracted in India while ho was coaching there last winter. The late Mr. Roy Kilner was born on October 17, 1890. He had been a professional member of the Yorkshire Cricket Club since 191 L He was a lefthanded batsman and a useful slow lefthanded bowler. In 1924-5 Mr. Kilner was a member of. the English team which toured Australia, and he also played for England in 1925 against the Australians at Home. SALVATION ARMY OFF4CER. (Received April 8, 5.35 p.m.) A. and N.Z.-Sun. LONDON, April 7. The death is announced of Brigadier Frederick R. Cox, of the Salvation Army. Deceased was secretary to the late General Booth, with whom he toured the world.
