SETTLEMENT OF A DISPUTE. (Received April 8, 5.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE. April 8. The t ram waymen" employed on 15. city routes declared a 24 hours' strike for yesterday because the Tramways Board refused to recognise tho day as a holiday. Under the Arbitration Court awarS the extra payment for the holiday would have amounted to £ISOO. After a compulsory conference between the parties tne men decided to return to work and all the services were restored to normaL
