BUS GOES OVER BANK.
THREE PERSONS INJURED. OTHERS SEVERELY SHAKEN. NIISHAP ON COUNTRY ROAD. PARTY RETURNING FROM RACES, jf r ■ .•'■'■jiigg ■ : [B* TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] MORRINSVILLE, Sunday. || Several persons were injured last evening. when a large motor-bus, in which they were travelling, crashed over a bank at Te Hoe, about 24 miles from McVrinsville. The bus, which is owned by J. Robson j and Sons, Morrinsv.ille, contained 12 passengers, who were returning from the Auckland races. When the vehicle went over a bark at the side of the road it rolled a distance of 40ft. The body was dislodged from the chassis, a factor which probably saved the lives of the occupants, several of whom were rendered unconscious. Doctors were summoned from Ngaruawahia and Morrinsvillo. The passengers injured were Mr. G. 1 Lindsay, of To Aroha, who sustained a fracture of a collarbone; Air. W. McConachy, of Tahuna, and Mr. .B. Green, of Morrinsville, who received cuts on tho head and face. All the others- received a severe shaking.
