ATHLETES FROM BRITAIN.
possible dominion visit. [BY TELKOHAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION. 3 WELLINGTON, Tuesday. From a letter read at a meeting of the council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, there seems a possibility of Dr. A. E. Porritt, D. G. A. Lowe, British and Olympic half-mile runner, ancl Lord Burghley, British hurdler, visiting New Zealand, perhaps in the summer after the Olympic Games.
The following performances registered at the Australian and New Zealand championships last December were stated as having been passed as the best on record for Australia and Now Zealand:—E. M. Davidson (Victoria), high jump, 6ft. 2|in.; New South Wales relay team <J. Martin, W. Hunt, A. Walker, J. Carlton), one mile .relay, 3m 35 3-ss; E. Keskinen (Auckland), deolathlon, 6433.73 points.
