DESCENT FROM 7000 FEET. DEMONSTRATION AT BONDI ''Received January 29, 7.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Jan. 09. Lieutenant Ovilier made a further parachute descent from an aeroplane at Bondi in the presence of 120,000 people. He jumped from a height of 7000 ft. and fell into the sea five miles off the shore. After swimming for an hour he was pinked up by a passing steamer.
