NOVEMBER WEATHER.

\ SUNSHINE BELOW AVERAGE. The month of November was dry and cool, with the amount of bright sunshine below the average, according to the monthly report of Captain D. McLeay, Government observer, compiled from records taken at Albert 'Park. Bright sunshine totalled 173 hours, 50 minutes. Although there were many duli days, there was only one when no sunshine was recorded. The average reading of the barometer was 29.987 in., the maximum of 30.244 in. being recorded on November 3, and the minimum, of 29.478, on November 16. The approximate average temperature was 59.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Rain fell on 13 days, the maximum fall of .45in. being registered on November 1. A fall of .d6in. on November 30 brought the total for the month to 1.63 in., or 1.57 in. below the average. The tots I recorded in Hamilton during November was 2.17 in. Rain fell on 17 ■lays, the maximum fall being sin. on. November 15.

The weather at Cambridge in November was slightly drier than the average. Rain fell on 13 days and the total for the month was 3.16 in.
