KNOCKED DOWN BY BUS.

[by telegraph —press ASSOCIATION. I PALMERSTON NORTH. Thursday During the earfy hours of this morning a bus leaving Bunnythorpe alter a dance knocked down an elderly man, Mr. J. Brosnan. A doctor was sent for, but at the time Mr Brosnan appeared little the worse for the accident. Later in the morning he evidently collapsed, being found unconscious near a factory where he was employed. A doctor was again summoned, and found him to he suffering from' concussion and internal injuries. He was removed to the hospital, and his condition this evening was very serious.
