Casey had the better of the opening rounds, and had F3roadfoot down for seven seconds and eight seconds in the' second session. Broadfoot came back strongly over the middle stages, and Was boxing well at the finish. The verdict of a draw was well received. In a preliminary bout Jaggers (ChrisfcCliurch) beat McEwan (InvercargiU).
