DELAY AT ARAPUNI.

POWER BOARD'S VIEWPOINT. Following a visit to the hydro-electric works at Arapuni last week, members of the Waitemata Electric Power Board decided yesterday to communicate with the Minister of Public Works informing huri that they viewed with alarm tho delay in the erection of tho powerhouse and urging him to expedite, the contract. The chairman, Mr. J U W Hayden, said this was as far as tho board could go. Any other questions were for tho engineers, and it was not the place of tho board to interfere.
