ORDER FOR MAINTENANCE.

HUSBAND WHO LEFT HOME. "Too much nagging" was the excuse proffered by Albert Richard Davies, when ho was charged in the Police Court on Saturday with failing to provide for tho maintenance of his wife. Mr, W. H. McKean, S.M., said defendant could not shelve his responsibilities on the grounds of incompatibility. Defendant said he was earning £2 10s a week, running a motor-truck on his own behalf. Counsel .'or the wife said a warrant had been issued because it was feared defendant might leave for Australia. Defendant said he had left his wife a week ago. Tho magistrate made an order for maintenance at tho rate of £1 10s a week.
