LOSSES BY AUSTRALIA. ' A. and N.Z. CANBERRA, Nov. 19. In the Federal House the Prime Minister, Mr. Bruce, in reply to a question, said for the six months ended September 30 the Commonwealth Line of steamers lost £243.780. The vessels made a profit on trips to Australia, but losses on the return voyages.
