AMERICAN SHIP TOURS.

EXCLUSION OF DOMINIONS. ATTITUDE OF AGENCIES. A. and N.Z. NEW YORK. Oct. 28. Australia and New Zealand will not be included in the itineraries of any of the | world cruises to be conducted this season by the large tourist agencies of "America One company intimates that the ports of these two Dominions will be omitted from its future voyages. Another company says 'he inclusion of Australia and New Zealand has not proved a sufficient attraction to make it possible for it successfully to sell this cruise with these countries included, taking into con sideration the fact that a great deal of extra steaming is required to reach them The passengers, in other words, have not found Australia sufficiently interesting to be able to arouse enthusiasm in then friends over the visit, and the compauy has been obliged to drop them from lt-s route. Another agency said: " We ieei it desirable to go back to a tour of India. China and Japan, and it is not possible to include Australia in the itinerary out lined. This does not mean that we shall not at some future date include Australia and New Zealand. In case there is any question whether our experience was the same as that reported by others, we take the occasion to point out that, the omission of Australia is not because the tour ists did not enjoy their visit there. Our people thoroughly enjoyed it, and we have every intention of including Australia ani New Zealand in our cruises at some future date. Naturally the interest of 6uch new countries is not so great as the interest of older countries, snch as India, China and Japan." It is understood that a private individual may conduct a limited party of tourists from America to Australia 'n January, but no plans have yet been settled.
