NEW ZEALAND SQUADRON.

DUNEDIN'S NEW COMMANDER. Captain L. V. Wells, D.5.0., who arrived from England by the liotorua on Sunday, assumed command of H.M.S. Dunedin yesterday. He takes over from Captain J. S. M. Ritchie, whose term of service in New Zealand has'< expired. H.M.S. Dunedin will officially become the flagship of the New Zealand Niaval Division on the next occasion that the vessel meets H.M.S. Diomede with the commodore on board.
