STEAMER'S BOILER LEAKING
VESSEL RETURNS TO PORT. A. and N.Z. HOBABT. Oct. T. The Union Company's steamer Kaiapoi, bound from Banbury to Auckland, which was loaded with bunker coal at Hobari during the week-end, returned to port owing to a leakage in one of the boiler tubes, which occurred when sh® was 146 miles off the Tasmanian coast. It is expected that the vessel will ha able to resume her voyage to-day.
