FRENCH WAR DEBT.

PAYMENTS TO BRITAIN. INSTALMENT OF £3,000,000. (British Official Wireless.) A. and N.Z. RUGBY, Sept. 14. The isura of £3,000,000 is to be paid hy Franco to Britain to-day in accordance with the provisional agreement concerning the French war debt which was concluded on February 16. The previous instalment was paid ort March 15. These payments do not cause any gold movements Ira® Franco to Britain. They are assured by credits at the disposal of the French Government in British hanks or at the British Treasury.
