Miss Cecil Hull is the guest of Mrs. JJ. S. Abraham, Palrnerston North. Miss Ashton has arrived from Rotorua ®nd is sailing by the Tofua for the Islands 10-day. Mrs. J. Mackay is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Guy, Palmerston North. Mrs. C. Bothamiey and Mrs. and Miss H. McKay, of Wellington, are visiting Auckland. Miss Monro, who has been spending a holiday in the North Island, has returned to Lyttelton. Miss H. N. Gray, of Christchurch. is on a visit to Auckland and is staying at the Hotel Cargen. ' The gymnasiums, courts and natatoriums of the Y.W.C.A. in Chicago are now used by more than 25.000 women. Mrs. Runnerston and family, who have teen on a visit to Auckland, returned to Wangauui last evening. Mrs. S. Brown, of Wellington, has returned from a trip to Honolulu and is at present staying in Auckland. Mrs. L. W. Alexander has left for Rotorua, where she will stay with her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Dumbleton. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Wood have returned to CHristchuvch after spending several weeks in the North Island. Between 40 and 50 prominent and wealthy women in the United States now have their own horse-racing stables. ' Mrs. Earnshaw and Miss Earnshaw. who recently arrived from England, left by the Ulimaroa.on their return to Sydney. Lady Fergusson and Miss Margaret Fergusson were the guests of Mrs. A. E.
