[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday. At the Wellington musical competitions Miss Beryl Smith (Auckland) gained 82 points and first prize in the English song (contralto) class and 87 points and second prize in the sacred solo (mezzosoprano).
