CHILD'S EYE INJURED.
ACCIDENT WITH SCISSORS.
Serious injuries to an eye were sustained by Ellen Chubb, aged years, at the residence of her parents, Church Street, Otahuhu, when the end of the scissors her sister was using for cutting out pictures was accidentally driven into the eye. The child was taken from her home to the Auckland Hospital, where an operation was performed. It is too early to say whether the sight of the eye will be saved.
