REWARD OF £IO,OOO CLASMED. LONDON MUSIC FIRM'S OFFER. (Received August 31, 5.5 p.m.) Sun. LONDON, Aug. 30. When a firm of London music publishers introduced the song- " I'vo Never Seen a Straight Banana," they offered a reward of £IO,OOO for the discovery of such a specimen. A resident of Jamaica, Mr. R. Livingston, recalled this offer when he picked a straight banana in a Kingston plantation. He had it photographed and officially measured, and it was then pickled in formalin and deposited in a bank. His solicitors are now claiming the reward on his behalf.
