CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
ACTIVITIES AT ONEHUNGA. The annual meeting of the OnehungaManukau Chamber of Commerce was held last evening, tho president, Mr. H. J. Davies, presiding. In moving t l, c adoption of the report, Mr. J. E. Cowell, congratulated the committee on its success in promoting such a good exhibit in the Manukau District Court at the recent Winter Show. It was a decided credit to tho district and the committee. Mr. J. E. Green submitted details of tho Jubilee Memorial booklet issued at the time of the show, to commemorate the jubilee of the borough, and the treasurer gave a preliminary estimate, of the district court expenses, both showiug a small balance. The election of officers resulted:—President, Mr. H. J. Davies; vice-president, Mr. T. S. Bassett; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. G. Houldsworth; committee, Messrs. G. H. Bray, J. E. Green, S W. House, D. K. Jones, W. R. Knight and C. F. Milnes; auditor, Mr. Win. Yeatman. Members accepted an invitation to attend a meeting of the Manukau Cruising Club this evening, when measures will be discussed with a view to forming a boat harbour on the Manukau.
