Sir, —I am sure most of the shivers of children are caused by them wearing so few clothes, and what is worn being high above the knees, instead of below the knees. I think it cruel to turn children outside the door in winter, dressed as the majority do. arid just because short clothes are the fashion. What is needed, fire or no fire, is more common sense, a sense of duty to do our part and less expected of the Government, Education Board, etc. Hcmanitt.
