WAIKATO RACE DISPUTE.

NO SETTLEMENT REACHED. CONFERENCE AND MINISTER. [by telegraph.—own correspondent. ] WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Following his conference with the Waikato Hunt Club m connection with the Labour Day racing permit dispute Mr. H. R. Sellers, secretary to the New Zealand Racing Conference, arrived in Wellington to-day. Interviewed he stated that as the matter was still sub judice he had nothing to announce for publication. Efforts' to arrange an interview between members of the conference and the Prime Minister to-day did not succeed, but on Friday morning the members will wait on the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. R. F. Bollard. The Prime Minister may be present.
