ORPHANS' CLUB FUNCTION.

NORTHCOTE LADIES' NIGHT. The " ladies' night " of the Birkenhead and Northcote Orphans' Club, held in the Onewa Picturedrome, Northcote, last evening, was a pronounced success. Fully 400 persons were present. The president, Mr. H. D. Boles, introduced tho chairman, Dr. J. W. Craven, who extended a cordial welcome to the official guests. A most enjoyable musical programme was given.
