A WARM EIDERDOWN.

Save all the old blankets and tack the best parts together, say a couple of thicknesses. Then cover with cretonne and machine-stitch across, about 4in. apart. A nice eiderdown is thus made at little cost. The colour scheme of cretonne should be in harmony with other covers in the bedroom.
