BULLOCK DROPS DEAD.

ATTACK ON A CYCLIST. Charging at a party of telegraph linesmen cycling to work near Sale, Victoria, recently, an infuriated bullock, breaking away from a. mob of cattle, knocked down Mr. J. Smith. Mr. Smith was hampered by the gear ori his hack, and was unable to rise from the ground. Repeatedly the animal charged him, and attempted to gore him, but; was kept off by his bicycle. Eventually the animal was driven off, but it had not gone 100 yards before it dropped dead.
