TO-DAY'S WEATHER. HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. 11. M. Vincent last evening:—Mainly fine weather is indicated, although still unsettled at times, with scattered showers, particularly in western and southern districts. Southerly to south-westerly winds, moderate to strong, veering by west to north. Seas moderate. The westerly disturbance is now decreasing in energy, and improved conditions are expected generally. Tropical influences are developing in the vicinity of Norfolk island, and further unsettled weather will follow shortly, with northerly to north-easterly winds prevailing and freshening.
