MATCH IN THIRD ROUND. FRANCE DEFEATS ITALY. (Received June 14, 5.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z.-Sun. ROME, June 14. In a Davis Cup match ,in the third round France defeated Italy by three matches to two. In the singles De Morpurgo defeated Cochet, 7—5, 5—7, 6—l, 7-+-5; Lacoste defeated Destefani, 6—3, 6—B, 6—l, 6—3.
