STATE PREMIERS CONFER. MATTER OF FEDERAL GRANTS. (Received June 11. 8.25 p.m.) A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE. June 14. At a conference of the Premiers of the various States, preliminary to the Federal and States financial conference which will be held next Thursday, it was decided that the States should work together in order to secure amounts equal to £8,000,000 which were lost to the States by the withdrawal of the per capita payments
