WEDDINGS.
St. John's Church, Kihikihi, was the scene of a pretty wedding last week, when Herbert Browne, son of Mr, H. Browne, Ramarama, was married to Kathleen Emily McCormick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. McCormick, of Kihikihi. The Rev. Father Zanna officiated and there was a good attendance of relatives and friend*. The bridct was frocked in a saxe blue repp <;otitume with Oriental trimmings, and wore a pink hat trimmed with osnreys. She carried a shower bouquet. Tho Misses Joan Haines arid Edith Bartels, nieces of the bride, were in attendance as bridesmaids, Miss Hairie.i wearing pink velvet with silver lace trimmings and mob cap, and Miss Bartels blue. Both carried basket# of autumn flowers. Mr. A. McCormick, brother of the bride, carried out tho duties of best man,
A very prettv wedding wm celebrated fn Hamilton last week, the brida being Mis* Lucy Margaret Murphy, third daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr, John Murphy, of Hamilton, formerly of Tama here, R nd the bridegroom. Mr. Arthur Mainland, eldest son of Mrs. A. Mainland, of Auckland. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Bie-aklev. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. C. J. A, Drake and Mrs. IDrake, was married to Mr, Francis Aljevne Holder, second ion of Mr. and Mrs* Holder, of Kaitaia. 'Die ceremony was performed bv the bride'* father. The 'bride, who was given away by the Rev. F, B. Pobson, vicar of Manurewa., worn a ■frock of white silk georgette trimmed with ireordion pleating and stiver lace and ml with coronet of orange blossoms. The three bridesmaid* carried bouquets of aisparagns and chrysanthemum*, which harmonised with their frocks, Mr. Edward Beaton, cousin of the bridegroom, acted a.*., best man.
