ROTGRUA LADIES' TOURNEY. RAIN INTERFERES WITH PLAY. (bv telegraph.—own correspondent.] ROTORUA, Tuesday. The Rotorua ladies' open golf tournament commenced this morning. A championship qualifying round, the first J6 to qualify, and one medal round were piayed. The three best cards in the qualifying rourd were those of Miss Uphain, 82: Miss Culling, 85: and Miss M. Payton, 89. Tie winners in the first medal round were i—A grade: Miss Upham, 82. 6—70. B grade: Miss Sair, 107, 23—81. Tie weather became very bad, and it was decided to postpone further play until to-morrow morning. AUCKLAND LADIES' CLUB. The bogey competition, which was to have beer, played by members of the Auckland Ladies' Golf Club yesterday, wsis postponed oil account of the wet weather, and will be played on Friday. A monthly medal competition will be played on Tuesday. Entries will close on Friday, TITIRANUi LADIES' CLUB.
