DUNEDIN RAILWAY MISHAP.
SEVEN WAQGONS DERAILED. BROKEN AXLE THE CAUSE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DUNEDIN. Friday. Seven railway waggons were derailed when a train from Balclutha to Dunediu was approaching the Green Island station at 1.30 this morning. The axle of one of the waggons broke, with the result that the waggon, , as well as the six following it, were thrown from the lines. ' A breakdown train was despatched to the scene and by 3.30 this afternoon the line was completely cleared and normal running resumed. No. one was injured and the permanent way suffered very little damage.
