LECTURES.

"• Mr. G. Graham will give an open-air lecture, under the auspices of the W.E.A., at Cornwall Park this afternoon. His subject will- be "Maori History Connected With One Tree Hill." "Credits" is the title of a lecture to be {liven by Mr. H. G R Mason, M.P., at the Queen's Theatre to-morrow evening. Music will be provided by H. Meredith's Orchestra. The subject of child welfare will be treated in a lecture to be given in the old Grammar School buildings, Symonds Street, by Dr. Hilda North croft, on Monday evening. Admission will be _free. . A lecture on "Dahlias and Dahlia Shows Abroad" will be delivered by Mr. G. W. Wright in St. Andrew's Hall, Lower Pvmonds Street, next Thursday evening.The lecture will be under the auspiceSf of the Auckland Horticultural Society,:
