QUEENSLAND DROUGHT.
COUNTRY IN BAD STATE. LIMITED SUPPLY OF FEED. A. and N.Z. BRISBANE Jan. 21. The Queensland pastoral inspector who has completed a tour of the State reports that, with the exception of the area east and south of Charleville, the country is in a bad state owing to drought. From a point three miles north of Charleville to Long Reach the land is in a deplorable condition. It will only be possible, the inspector says, for the owners of holdings to carry on with the present feed for five weeks.
