RAILWAY EXCURSIONS.
PROPOSED SUNDAY SERIVIICE. AUCKLAND AND HAMILTON. [BY TKC.ECIKAPH.--OWN 'CORHESPONDEINT.] HAMILTON, Thtirscky. A suggestion that a Sunday excursion train ifrojri Hamilton to Auckland ba given a trial was put to Mr. W. W. Wellstfld, commercial agent for fcihe Railways Department,- when he attended a meeting of the Hamilton. Chamber of Commerce lust evening. It was also proposed that an excursion train should be run o:a Sundays from Auckland to Hamilton, to connect with the boat trip , on the WaiQsato River. Mr. Wallsted stated that if sufficient stippor); was forthcoming an experimental Sunday train service from Hfcmiitoit to Auckland might be inaugurated in January. The arrangement of an excursion train from Auckland to Hamilton would depend on the inducement that was offering. A committee was appointed to cooperate with the Railways, Department in the matter.
