AREA IN WAITAKERES. COUNTY COUNCIL'S OBJECTION, Objection to the action of the Aucklanc City Council in acquiring about 30 .ucrei of land on the eastern slope of Pukemate keo Hill in the Waitakere Ranges fo: the purposes of a public park was taken at a meeting of of the Waiteinata Count; Council yesterday. The engineer con sidered it undesirable that the City. Coun cil should encroach on the eastern, slope of the ranges and lock up land that wa capable of probable occupation. It was decided to enter a protes against the action of the City Council.
