WEDDINGS.

A pretty wedding took place at St. Mary's Church, Helensville, last .week, when - Miss Irene Gorst-Travers, of Christehureh, was married to Mr. (Stanley Riddler, of: Wellington. The Rev. T. Partridge officiated. The bride wore a charming, frock of white embroidered 1 georgette bordered with silver,;lace. Her' tulle ,vail, which was caaghfc round the head with a circlet of orange blossom, formed a graceful train and. she carried a bouquet of sweet peas and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Boyd, wore a frock of pink georgette overlaee and a beige hut trimmed with flowern, Sho carried a bouquet of mauve sweet peasThe two little flower girls, nieces; of the bridegroom, wore frocks of pink ;and blue georgette respectively, and carried posies of pink and blue flowers. Mr. B, Jones, of Wellington, was best man. r

On December .8 at the Church of the Assumption, Ouehunga, there was uolemnised with nuptial Mass the marriage of William, younpst son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Hotchin, of Arthur Street, to Helen, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Wade, of Norman's Hill. Rev. Monsigner Cahill officiated. The bride, who entered on the arm of her father, wore a beaded frock of ivory crepe de chine. Her veil was worn with. a coronet of pearls and orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of roses.: Tha bridesmaids. Miss Dora Wade (sister of the bride), and /Miss Dorothy Hotchin (sister of the bridegroom),'wore ivory georgette with an overdress of silver lace, Their hats were of shell pink georgette and they carried bouquets to match. The best man was Sir. Jack Jeffery,. and Mr. W, Dragw acted ns groomsman, both cousins of tue bridegroom. ; :
