MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Hon. R. F. Bollard, Minister o£ Internal Affairs, arrived in Auckland on Saturday morning and was engaged during the morning on departmental, business. In the afternoon he opened the new fire brigade station at Onehunga. Departmental business will again engagis the attention of the Minister to-day and * ha will .return to Wellington this evening.
The Hon. R. A. Wright, Minister of Education, was engaged on Saturday in receiving deputations and on departmental business, and in the afternoon he officially opened a sports carnival and sale of work at the Cornwall Park school. This morning the Minister, accompanied by Mrs. Wright, will leave for Whangstrei, where, he will present the prizes at the high school this evening and at the primary school to-morrow. On Wednesday he will open the new school at Pukehuia and the new high school at Dargavillei. Mr. Wright will return to Auckland on Thursday, and will proceed to Wellington the same evening. The Hon. S. .Williams, Minister of Public Works,. opened a new bridge over the Awatere River near Upcot, known as Limestone Ford, on Saturday, says a Press Association message from Blenheim. The Minister returned to Blenheim in tho evening. This afternoon he proceeds t > Kaikoura,, returning via Blenheim and Picton to Wellington by the... Tamabitw to-morrow. .
