The German barque Gustav, now taking in ballast at King's Wharf, is to sail next week for Sydney, where she will be docked lor cleaning and painting. MAUNGANUI SAILED. With 218 nasßeneers, as well as mail and cargo, the Union Company's intercolonial steamer Maunganui sailed for Sydney yesterdav afternoon. She is duo there on Tuesday morning, and nest Friday will be despatched for Wellington. HINEMOA DUE TO-MORROW. The Government steamer Hinemoa left Norfolk Island at seven o'clock on Thursday evening tor her return'journey to Auckland. Spedding, Ltd., the local agents, advise that sho is due to-morrow afternoon. ULIMAROA FROM SYDNEY. The Huddart-Parker steamer Uiimaroa was to leave Sydney yesterday with passengers, mail and cargo tor Auckland. She is due on Tuesday. THE COLAC. The New Zealand Shipping Company's chartered steamer Colac is to sail at midday to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton ana Dunedin. m continuation of her voyage from Eastern -Canadian ports. ' THE PORT HOBART. To complete loading in New Zealand tho Commonwealth and Dominion Line's motorWellington for Napier at mid-day on Thursday, bne is to sail on Tuesday for Loudon, via Panama. TEKOA FROM LIVERPOOL. With general merchandise froas West of Eng.and ports the New Zealand Shipping Company s steamer Tekoa is expected from Liverpool about Tuesday. Cargo for AuckI land will bo unloaded at Queen's Wharf and remainder at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. THE R.M S. NIAGARA. The local office of the Union Company advises_ that the Roy«l Mail liner Niagara, which is due at Auckland from Vancouver, via way ports, on December 6, is scheduled to sail at three o'clock the following afternoon m continuation of her vovage to Sydney. TOFUA LEAVES SUVA. En route from Tonga and Samoa, the Uir.on Company's island steamer Tofua loft Suva at midnight on Thursday for Auckland and is due about Monday evening. Besides passengers and mail, she has 27,000 cases of bananas, the largest shipment for some years. She is to berth at Queen's Wharf, WINGATUI DELAYED, After being delayed by bad weather, the Wingatui :s due at Devonport, Tasmania, from Auckland to-day. will complete loading at Melbourne and is expected to sail next Wednesday or Thursday for Wellington and Auckland. TONGARIRO DUE AT SUVA. An expected arrival at Suva at arjy time now ia tho New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tongariro from London. After unloading cargo for Fi.ii she will resume her voyage to Auckland, Dunedin and Timaru. She is due at Auokland next Thursday. THE STROMA. The steamer Stroma, which is expected about Monday from Nauru Island, will unload phosphates at King's Wharf and will then go to New Plymouth to complete discharge. It is understood the vessel does not carry a wireless operator and consequently no advice will be received regarding her expected time of arrival. Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlana are tho local agents. THALATTA DUE TO-MORROW. Burns, Philp and Company, Ltd.. advise that the Norwegian motor-ship Thalatta is due from Nelson at noon to-morrow. She will berth at Central Wharf to unload about fiOO ton 3 of cargo, including maize from South Africa, wattle bark and dried fruit from Australia, and transhipments from Sydney. ex the motor-ships Touraino and Tailored. After discharge she will sail about Monday ovening- for Sydney. THE MAHANA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana, which is due about Tuesday from London, will unload explosives off Motuihi Island and will afterwards berth at Prince's Wharf to discharge general merchandise for Auckland. She will also discharge at Wellington and New Plymouth, A. S. Paterson and Company, Limited, aro the local agents. RICHARDSON LINE STEAMERS. Messrs. Watkin and Wallia advise that the Richardson steamer i J utiki is due from the East Coast this morning. She is to load at King's Wharf and to sail this afternoon lor Gisborne and Waikokopu. The Awahou is due on Monday morning and is to sail on Tuesdav afternoon for Tokomaru Bay and Gisbourne. The Mako is duo on Tuesday and is to aail on Wednesday for East Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa. CARGO FROM THE EAST. "Advice received by the Union Co. states the Waihora arrived at Calcutta on November 24 to load for New Zealand. Sho is to sail next Thursday for Wellington direct, and will then go to Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff to discharge. The Sussex is to leave Calcutta next Tnursday or Friday for Penang, Singapore and Samarang to complete loading for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Blufi. PORT SYDNEY BERTHED. Tho Commonwealth and_ Dominion Line steamer Port Sydney, which arrived from New York on Thursday evening, berthed at Prince's Wharf yesterday morning to unload case oil and general merchandise to the agency of the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company. Tho other discharging ports are Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. . After leaving New York on .October 21. tne Port Sydney called at Norfolk. Virginia, for bunkers. Owing to the congestion at the port, due to the coal strike in England, she did not resume her voyage until October 26. Sho bunkered again at Coicn on November- 2, and cleared Panama tho same day. On November 14, a short stay was made off I'itcairn Island. Generally fine weather prevailed until the steamer was nearing New Zealand when strong westerly winds and rough seas were encountered and delayed her arrival at Auckland • The steamer brought the following passengers :—Misses Z.
