DOUBLE MURDER.
SAN FRANCISCO SENSATION
PROHIBITION OFFICERS SHOT. Sun. NEW YORK. Nov. 24. A sensational double murder was committed at San Francisco. Two prohibition officers, Messrs. George Wentworth and Daniel Mangin, seized a launch belonging to a man named Burril Morris. The launch is alleged to have contained a cargo of liquor. The two officers were taking Morris to prison when he drew a revolver and shot both of them dead He then escaped.
