HEAVY CHRISTCHURCH LIST. TOTAL OF TWENTY-THREE CASES [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] CHRISTCHURCH. Monday. The list of cases set down for the criminal sessions of the Supreme Court which open to-morrow is the heaviest for some time. Ifc comprises 23 cases. There are two charges of murder and two charges of causing death through negligent driving of motor vehicles. WHITE GLOVES FOE JUDGE. NO BUSINESS AT GISBORNE. When the Supreme Court opened this morning, Mr. Justice Ostler was presented by the clerk of the Court with a pair of 1 white gloves, this being the first occasion for twelve years on which there had beeu an entire absence of criminal business.
