EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
AUDITORS' FINAL REPORT. CALL ON THE GUARANTORS. A. N.Z. LONDON. Oct. 31. The auditors of the Empire Exhibition have issued their 6nal report. This gives the loss on the exhibition at £104,000, but this snm includes outstanding claims which are subject to litigation. It excludes the purchase price for the site and buildings at Wembley, tha sale of which has not yet been finalised. The liquidators have formally demanded from the guarantors 5s in the pound, makjag a total call of 20s in the pound, bat they aro only calling up 2s 6d immediately and are hoping for a reduction of the losses on account, of the items mentioned.
