FINGERS CAUGHT IN BELT.

MAN'S ARM BROKEN. [by telegraph.—own cob,respondent.] WHANGAREI, Tuesday. While operating a milking machine at Whakapara on Sunday a farm hand, Robert Cowan, aged 22 years, met with a painful accident. The fingers of his right hand were caught in a travelling holt, the arm was suddenly bent, and both bones of the forearm were broken. Cowan was admitted to the Whangarei Public Hospital yesterday, and is reported k> be progressing favourably.
