COLLISION AT CROSSING.
MOTOR RUNS INTO TRAIN. DRIVER ESCAPES INJURY. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] ■ WANGANUI/ Tuesday. A heavy motor-truck carrying furniture from New Plymouth ran into a mixed train at the Guyton Street. crossing tonight. The driver, J. Cooper, escaped without a scratch, but the lorry was wrecked. He said he did not see tho train as a long line of trucks was ahead of the carriage he hit. As the trucks were tiot"lighted ho drove on to the crossing.with no thought of danger.
